Susan Elizabeth Whitfield, 49 of Mt. Dora, Fl. passed away May 4, 2015. She was born July 14, 1965 to Mamie Gray (Talton) & Adam Webster Cason in Atlanta, GA. Survived by her husband Richard Wright. Also, surviving are two sons, Andrew and George Whitfield, and two daughters Tara and Scarlett Whitfield and one grandson. She has one sister, Shirley Jenkins and one brother, Bill (Lisa) Cason, NC. Susan worked for Avanti Properties Group, Winter Park, FL. She was previously employed by AT&T in Atlanta, GA. She will be missed greatly by her husband, family and friends. A private memorial to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
