Isabel Mendez Widdis, 80, of Apopka, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015. She was born June 18, 1934 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. She was a Nurse. Mrs. Widdis is survived by her children, Ray Collins of Apopka, Kenneth DeJesus of Apopka and Juan DeJesus of North Carolina; 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F.
