Anna Luberisse, 77, of Apopka, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014. She was born July 12, 1937 in Anse-Rouge, Haiti. She worked in Hospitality. Ms. Luberisse is survived by her daughters, Marie (Andrew) McLean of Apopka, Mickaelle (Joseph) Benoit of Apopka; son, Jean (Mirlande) Lissade of Ocoee; sister, Leozia (Roger) Luberisse of Boston, MA; brother, Andre Luberisse of Boston, MA; nieces, Paula (Jackson) Pierre of Boston, MA, Marie Mercie Luberisse of Boston, MA; nephew, Ben Luberisse of Boston, MA; great niece, Daphany Remy of Boston; great nephew, Jean Richard Luberisse of Guadeloupe and Wallace (Sandra) Luberisse of New York; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS MARRIED TO HER SON JEAN WE WOULD PACK OUR KIDS IN THE CAR ON THE WEEKENDS AND GO TO SEE THEIR NANA SHE WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE US.THE FIRST TIME I EVER EAT CREOLE FOOD WAS ANNA COOKING .HER FOOD WAS SO GOOD THAT WHEN I WAS PREGNANT THE BABY IN MY STOMACH WOULD DANCE ALL THAT DAY .I REMEMBER ONE TIME SHE COOK DINNER AND I THOUGHT ON MY PLATE WAS AMERICAN COLESLAW SO I GOT A BIG FORK FULL AND SHOVED IT IN MY FACE BEFORE ANYONE COULD STOP ME AND TELL ME THAT WAS NOT COLESLAW I THINK THEY CALL IT PICKIN LEAVES ALL I KNOW IS I WAS ON FIRER IT WAS SO HOT MY FACE TURN EVERY COLOR OF THE RAINBOW EVERYONE BURST OUT LAUGHING.TELL THIS DAY I STILL LAUGH ABOUT IT.SHE WAS IS SWEET AND LOVING SHE WAS LIKE A PINT SIZE OF SUNSHINE WITH HER SMILE I LOVE HER AND I WILL MISS HER BUT I WILL ALWAYS SEE HER THROUGH HER 3 GRANDCHILDREN THAT I HAD FOR HER SON.AND SHE WILL LIVE ON THROUGH HER 10 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN ALSO.SHE HAVE AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY MOTHER-IN-LAW
