Robert Hunter Haygood, 47, of Lexington Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014. He was born October 12, 1966 in Apopka, FL. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Jeannie and Curt Haygood, his brother Rick Haygood and his most beloved grandmother Cecil Bragg. Mr. Haygood is survived by his sister, Dana Haygood, his brother Chris (Norma) Haygood and brother John David Haygood; and many extended family members. Robert was born and raised in Apopka, Florida. He loved the outdoors. A great fishing and hunting man. He was a very talented artist and wrote beautiful poetry that was published in several books and magazines. He loved his family and friends, but most of all he loved and served the Lord. He was a gentle and caring man and was loved by all that were fortunate enough to have knew him. We love you Robert. I'm so sorry for your families loss. Robert was always joking around. I lost contact with him after school . But often wondered where he was and how he was. This is such sad news. God bless you all. In my prayers. May God wrap his loving arms around you all and give you peace.

Gonna miss Roberts letters. You could count on one come every week. Letters in the mail aren't so common any more so they were special. I loved hearing about his spiritual progress. He came a long way in a short time. See you soon Rob.
