Donald Ossie Johnson, 63, of Sorrento, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014. He was born June 08, 1951 in Eustis. He was a Superintendent in the Agriculture industry. Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife, Linda A. Johnson of Sorrento; children, Donald (Kristie) Johnson of Apopka; Jeremiah Johnson of Sorrento, Amanda Johnson of Sorrento, Ariel Johnson of Sorrento, Charlie (Audrey) Bowman of Ocoee and Nichole Zubasic of Sorrento; brother, Jimmy (Heather) Johnson of Ocoee; 13 grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
