Lillie Mae Huffstutler, 69, of Eustis, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. She was born April 23, 1945 in Bell County, KY and moved to Central Florida over 50 years ago. She was a Homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Huffstutler was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Seger and sister, Rose carpenter. Mrs. Huffstutler is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Huffstutler, Jr. of Eustis; daughters, Pamela Lynch of Eustis and Samantha Phillips of New Smyrna; son, Samuel Huffstutler, III of Apopka; three grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
