Mr. Kenneth Ray Harvard, 84, of Apopka, FL, passed away June 24, 2014. He was born September 04, 1929 in Florala, AL. He was a Repair Foreman in the Telecommunications Industry. Mr. Harvard is survived by his loving wife Billie Harvard; children., Steven (Valerie) Harvard, Susan (Bob) Hughes; brothers, George (Ann) Harvard, Gene (Jan) Harvard; grandchildren, Allison Harvard, Abbey (Kyle) VanDyke, Johnathan (Kara) Hughes, Megan Hughes.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
