Mr. Kevin Alan McCafferty, 44, of Apopka, FL, passed away June 14, 2014. He was born April 13, 1970 in Apopka, FL. He was a Truck Driver. Mr. McCafferty is survived by his loving parents Ealie and Audrey McCafferty; children Ashley McCafferty, Kaitlyn McCafferty, Logan McCafferty, Kevin McCafferty, Jr.; brother Ealie (Mac) McCafferty III.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

i just need to say that i met kevin a few yrs ago. we became friends working together and i called him spent time with him… and every wk we would talk about what was going on in his life and helped him through some difficult times about his children and his fears as this horrible cancer was trying to take his life. he loved his kids like no one i ever seen. there needs were always more important and he worried so deeply that they are the only reason he hung in there aslong as he could. those children was kevins strength an life. i will never forget this man i loved my dear friend and ill miss him always.may you rest in peace my sweet kind friend…ill miss u always kevin…may you rest in peace knowing your fight was not in vein. and your children will prosper because of you.
