My dear friends Kenny and Sam,You must be so proud of the turnout today as we all remembered a great man, your son Brian. Anne and I are so sorry we missed most of the service. Our flight being delayed two hours had us frustrated, but it must have been in Gods plans, it was a tremendous tribute to Brian just as it was. Below is an outline of what my comments would have been today along with the closing I wrote. It's from the heart and I wanted to share it with you. I will post it on Brian's memorial page as well. Please share it with other family members as you see fit. God Bless you both. He lead a life we can all be proud of, a life filled with dignity and integrity. A life filled with excitement and fun for a short 34 years. He lead by example, often on his bike or assisting a child with a smile. I’m sure if he had one last wish today as he sits on his bike just inside the gates of heaven, it would be that we carry on, to make our own mark on this world. To the Harrelson family and Vanessa, none of us can take away the sadness you are feeling. I hope it is a comfort to know how much Brian meant to us, and how much you mean to us as well. We honor your grace, your own courage, and above all, the great love that you gave to our friend Brian. And so for now, Brian Harrelson –farewell. We will always be thankful for your good life. In Almighty God, we place our confidence. And to Him we confirm you, with our love and with our prayers.

There are so many memories. Brian was my first real relationship and became a part of my family in more ways than one. Skiing in Colorado multiple times, white water rafting trips, motorcycle rides all over the state, family holidays, crazy parties and we definitely got in trouble together a time or two. Brian, I know you know this but I will always have love for you. Although we grew apart these last few years, I would not be who I am today without you. My heart aches for your family. You will live on in my memories and through the everlasting influence you had on others. Until we meet again. Xo

My memories of Brian all consist of him being a gentleman, a caring soul, kind hearted, not afraid to stand up for his beliefs, funny, and of course his distinctive laugh! The amazing list of great qualities can go on and on… I knew Brian in middle school but we became very close in high school and I will always keep our memories near and dear to my heart! So grateful to have met such a beautiful soul. To his son: I sent your dad a message a few months after you were born and told him, "Your baby is beautiful, I still cant believe your a daddy! R you loving it or what?!?!I always knew you would be a great one ; )..He replied," Thanks! Being a dad is the BEST!!I always remember him saying he can't wait to be a dad even when we were younger : )I will continue to pray for his children, parents, family and friends and keep him in my thoughts forever! Thank you Brian for showing me what a true man is and I will cherish that always.

Such a wonderful Man , loving Father. He had such a great sense of Family and tried so hard to make sure the family traditions started with the Harrelson family relatives gone on before were upheld, but updated to make new generations excited to spend time together. We will miss him terribly but promise to continue his quest to keep us together. Love you Brian. Praying for you, Ken and Sam.

I don’t know him or his family, but I walk past a shrine for him every day on my way home and make sure it stays tidy if I can. Though I’m late 5 years, I hope you all are doing okay and that he’s past on to a better place.
Mike Ouellette says
I miss him to this day, the memories of playing baseball in the 6th grade, getting in trouble together, going through highschool… I always knew if I needed him he’d be there for me. Such a great person, the world is forever a little darker without you here. Of all the great memories the one that stands out the most is his smile, I can’t say I ever remember Brian not smiling even getting in trouble as kids he smiled.
