Charles Rodney Brown, Jr., age 50, of Apopka, passed away on December 25, 2013. Born on April 25, 1963 in Orlando, he worked in the construction industry.
Mr. Brown, Jr. is survived by his loving mother, Patsy Brown; children, Charles Rodney Brown, III and Cody Ray Brown; sister, Pamela LaRocque; stepson, Juston Bonnell; ex-wife, Donna Brown; and several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
