Jose Ramon Gonzalez Del Valle, age 72, of Apopka, passed away on Friday, December 06, 2013. He was born on September 27, 1941 in Santa Clara, Cuba to Jose and Eloina Gonzalez Del Valle. Mr. Gonzalez Del Valle moved to the Central Florida area nine years ago from New Jersey. He was a Catholic and served in the US Army.
Mr. Gonzalez Del Valle is survived by his loving wife, Elsa Gonzalez Del Valle; children, Damian Gonzalez Del Valle, Deanna Margarita Gonzalez Del Valle, and Joseph Michael Gonzalez Del Valle; and siblings, Juan Carlos Gonzalez Del Valle and Martha Barrett.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
