Arleen Enid Martinez-Jimenez, 47, passed away Tuesday, November 05, 2013. She was born January 21, 1966 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and moved to Central Florida 14 years ago from the Dominican Republic. She was a Vital Statistics Clerk for Florida Hospital. Ms. Martinez-Jimenez is survived by her husband, Juan Martinez, parents, Jose R. Martinez and Noelia Jimenez; children, Natalia Pena, John-Henry Martinez and Gian-Marco Martinez; siblings, Tomas Martinez, Eliel Martinez, Gadi Martinez, Jose R. Martinez, Jr., Mariam Martinez and Michael Martinez
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
