Betty Ann Haynes, age 79, of Zellwood, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. She was born on July 08, 1934 in Eustis, FL to Joseph and Hazel Bransford. Miss Haynes was a member of Zellwood United Methodist Church and worked as a teacher.
Miss Haynes is survived by her loving sister, Connie Johns of Lake Coma; and dear friend, Patricia A. Brown of Zellwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zellwood United Methodist Church.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
