Margaret Linton, age 83, of Zellwood, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Born on September 16, 1930 in Akron, OH, she moved to the Central Florida area 4 years ago. Mrs. Linton was a Catholic and was self-employed.
Mrs. Linton is survived by her loving husband, Chris H. Linton of Zellwood; children, David E. Kling of York, Pa, Diane M. Makofsky of Satsuma, Daniel E. Kling, Sr. of Wrightsville, Pa, Debra M. Kling of York, PA, Donna Jean M. Wagaman of York, PA, and Darlene M. Hershey of York, PA; siblings, Morton Porta of Marietta, PA, Mary Ann Knoke of Rogers, AR, Rose Ann Martfeld of Lowell, AR, and Nancy Rang of Hanover, PA; twenty-four grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Mom, I had a dream about you last night. You called me on the phone to say hi and asked me to bring you a warm blanket, I gave you mine. You always found a way to make me smile when I was down and always had advice when I needed an ear. I wish I could call you one last time, but thankful to see you in my dreams, there I hear your voice and comforting words, and with that I smile and remember you.
