CHARLES WILLIAM ANSELL, 77, of Apopka, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He was born July 25, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Ansell was a Safety Engineer in the Construction Industry and a veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Ansell is survived by his loving wife, Laura Ansell of Apopka; children, Charles Ansell, II, Christopher Ansell, Shawn Smith and Kelly Ansell (Andy) Campbell; siblings, Ron Ansell, Marilyn Neste, Gail Bernick, B.J. Sullivan, Ed Ansell, Phillip Ansell and James T. Ansell; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
