MYRNA LOIS GUFFEY, 69, of Apopka, passed away Thursday, August 01, 2013. She was born October 26, 1943 in Cloudland Canyon, GA. She was a Cast Member and retired in 2008 after 20 years with Walt Disney World. Mrs. Guffey is survived by her daughters, Shirley Guffey of Apopka and Kimberly Guffey of Apopka; sister, Christine Foster; grandson, Paul Dakota R. Jones; granddaughter, Katherine R.M. Jones; son-in-law, Bernard Jones.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
