ROBERT J. GAGNE, age 66, of Weirsdale, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013. He was born May 11, 1947 in Providence, Rhode Island and moved to Central Florida over 40 years ago. He was an Electrician and worked for D&J Electric. Mr. Gagne was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Gagne. Mr. Gagne is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Gagne of Weirsdale; daughters, Sherry Gagne and Sandra Gagne, of Weirsdale; sons, Donald "Jimmy" Norris of Michigan, James Perkins and Kevin Bagley both of Apopka; several grand children and great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
