EUGENIA “GENIA” KELLY SMITH, age 50, of Ocoee, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013. He was born April 11, 1963 in Wet Palm Beach, Florida. She was a School Bus Driver and a Christian. Ms. Smith is survived by her significant other, Scott Sherman; daughter, Kelly M. (Jason) Panchou; son, James (Octavia) Smith; sisters, Brenda Eckhardt, Yvonne Smith Buffington and Linda Jerantowski; brothers, Kevin Smith and Robert Smith; 3 grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
