What is lovely never dies, But passes into other loveliness. Your mother was a beautiful woman, even in death her spirit still resides among you. She was a true hero in every sense of the word…..A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles, she has gained new strength and has been made whole again. My prayers will be with you and Monica today, in the days to come, and always. In those times when everyone else has gone home and try to resume some normality, the memories of your dear mother will be forever etched in the hearts and minds of you (her children) and all who knew her…..Rest on Ms. Sandy…….Rest on.

Woman… Yea.. That’s what I called you when we were about to square off when I got older… Later it was Old Woman… Yea.. I was grown now and I was not scared of you… But.. I don’t know how or why… I still feared (and ran from) your crazy azz… You raised me to be the man I am today. You taught me to respect woman, the value of working hard and saving my money, and most importantly, the value of a good education. No person on this Earth could ask for or have a better role model. You have always been there for me. When you died, a part of me was no longer whole. You will never be forgotten… VJ, Tia, and I love you and miss you!
