Charles L Horton, 64, of Apopka, Florida passed away Sunday, July 09, 2017. Mr. Horton was born November 06, 1952 in Pisgah, Alabama. He is survived by his loving wife Susan Horton of Apopka; children Casey Horton, Aaron Horton, and Lora Horton Petty; brother William Horton of Douglas, Georgia; grandchildren Kathryn, Kaylynn, Axton, Gage, Rylee; and his newest great grandson, Jaxon.
He will be returned to his birthplace per his request by his family.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
