Dorothy Maxwell, 94 of Mt Dora, FL died October 23rd 2021. Dorothy , daughter of Carl and Frances Click, loving wife of William Maxwell who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A native of Florida Dorothy was a housewife, artist, realtor associate and member of the Ocklawaha Chapter NSDAR, Eustis, FL. A service will be held Friday at Orlando Greenwood Cemetery at 11 am.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

I have some very fond memories of your mom from a long time ago..one in particular is the kitchen witch that she hung in her window and being scared that one of my kids would break something when we visited…she was always so welcoming and I admired her talents!!
