Steven Lee “Steve the Repoman” MacWithey, 72, of Port Orange, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Steve was born on December 4, 1948 in Berwyn, Illinois to the late Lee and Carolyn MacWithey. He is preceded in death by his daughter Michele MacWithey. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Kimmie, his children, Stephanie (Mario) Garcia, Danielle (Robert) Stephenson, Bradley MacWithey, Michaelle Gilson, Steven MacWithey II, and Carolyn (Arlen) Foster, and his siblings Fred (Ruby), Bruce (Gene), Susan, and Mike (Judy). Steve is also survived by the greatest joys of his life, his grandchildren, Dustin, Mario, Ayden, Lilianna, and Bentley. Steve was a loving husband, father, and papa, and the best Repoman there ever was. He will be deeply missed.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. I remember Steve in High School as we were classmates. Steve always walked around with a smile on his face! Lots of great memories with him. Steve’s nick name in High School was VoMac. I pray for God’s peace for his family.

I’ve only learned of Steve’s passing today, also was not aware that Michelle had passed away either, just really sad to know this! I am so sorry for the families loss. Our firm worked with Steve for years and he was always just the best at what he did and most of all a great smile for everyone! He will be missed!
