Kay Ellen Pruitt, 81, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on November 22, 2021. Mrs. Pruitt was born on November 15, 1940 in Orlando, Florida. She is preceded in death by her son Lance Pruitt. Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her children Tina Pruitt and Charles Pruitt; grandchildren Steven Pruitt, Crystal Pruitt, Molly Pruitt, Brianna Pruitt and Riley Campbell; great grandchildren Huxley Berger as well as sister Renna Oltman.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

I will miss not having our long conversations about politics and world current events as well as family I live next door to her son and his wife Cassie for 3yrs and helped Lance out whenever they needed me to. Even though I knew her for only 3yrs I felt like I knew her my whole life. I miss her whit and comedic comebacks

Lance was my neighbor and Cassie they lived at lot 332 my lot is 330. That is how I got to know Kay I miss not having our long discussions about life politics and religion. I know she’s at peace now with her husband and Lance god bless their souls
