Abner Lamar Roland, 74, of Apopka, Florida passed away on January 17, 2022. Mr. Roland was born on March 29, 1947 in Eastman, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Byrom Roland as well as daughter Linda D. Roland Lyle. Mr. Roland is survived by his children Brenda Singletary and Rochell E. Holloway; grandchildren Seth Vance and Jacob Holloway as well as close friends Loretta Gilbert and James Gilbert. He’ll be dearly missed by his loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
