Hannah “Betty”, 87, survived by her devoted husband John of 61 years. Beloved mother to Michael, Brendan (Cathy), Stephen (Jackie), John (Frida), Cathy (Mark). Loving Nana to Connor, Brendan, Grace, Kieran, Meaghan, Aidan, Elizabeth, Anna, Colin and Fiona. Loving sister to Eileen (Sonny), Bernie (Jimmy), Noreen, Jimmy (Janice). Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Pre- deceased by daughter Elizabeth, sisters Carmel, Dorothy (Doll), Patricia (Chickey) and Brother Frank. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends, fellow parishioners, and organizational friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

I was so sorry to hear the news that Mrs McKean was not feeling well and passed away. I was so lucky to be in the hearts of Mr. and Mrs. McKean my next door neighbor’s. I was loved as one of the family! She kept me safe and warm early every morning with a big smile. She always encouraged me as a child. She Loved her Family More then anything!
