Jimmy Wayne Bowden Sr., 74, of Sorrento, Florida passed away on February 08, 2022. Mr. Bowden was born in Vicksburg, Alabama to the late Daniel and Sue Bowden on October 17, 1947. Mr. Bowden is preceded in death by his siblings Dennis Bowden and Michael Bowden; as well as his grandson Daniel Bowden. He is survived by his loving wife Helen Bowden; children Jimmy (Becky) Bowden Jr. and Tammy (Jeff) Brough; as well as 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He will be missed by his many loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
