Gale P. Callaghan, 79, of Apopka, Florida passed away on January 29, 2022. Mr. Callaghan was born on April 14, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife Laura Callaghan; children Paul Callaghan and Pamela Clark; grandchildren Bryn and Luke Callaghan as well as Sophia and Samuel. He will be missed by his many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Oh Laura,
I just came across the obituary for Gale and I am heartbroken for you and the kids. He was such a wonderful person, so kind and gentle. He was a wonderful principal and I loved and respected him dearly.
It is hard to wrap my head around Paul and Pam being grown up with children of their own. I want them to know how wonderful you two were as parents and it was reflected in what great children they were and such an asset to any classroom.
His love of the Lord was such an incredible attribute and I know he rests in the arms of his Lord now.
