James (Jim) Donald Maddox passed away on April 27,2022 in Leesburg Florida. He was born on February 8, 1939 in Alabama. He enlisted and served in the US Air Force for 4 years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Tricia, as well and his sons and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother. His Mom and Dad and one sister preceded him in death.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
