Linda D. Slater, 65, of Orlando, Florida passed away on May 14, 2022. Mrs. Slater was born on July 21, 1956 in Orlando, Florida. She is survived by her son Dennis Bakle; siblings Danny Horton, Joey Horton, and Billy Horton; grandchildren Bradley Bakle, Tiffany Bakle-Gill, Ashleigh Bakle, Taglor Eggert and Kendra Eggert; as well as great grandchildren Bently Gill, Bryson Gill, Brielle Bakle and Braxley Bakle. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
