Kay loved her church family and was a member of The Remnant Church of God located in Winter Garden.
Kay lived her life to the fullest. She was never afraid of a challenge from traveling around the world with three small children as a military spouse or learning to play the bass guitar at 73 years old.
It was easy to see how Kay embraced life through her love of photography. She had a love for the mountains, streams, and the ocean.
Many children called her Grammy or Grandma Kay. They filled her house and heart with love as she embraced each one of them as her own.
While we all will miss her more than words could ever express this is not goodbye but see you later. As time moves on our tears may flow less but our love for Kay will never cease. She would want each of us to embrace life as she did giving of ourselves to others and living in God‘s word to ensure that we see her on the other side.

Mama, I miss you more than words can say. The days will not be the same without our daily phone calls. I’ll be looking to the happens a lot for motherly advice. You were the first person to ever love me and the only person who truly understood me. I’ll be lost for quite some time without my biggest cheerleader. I’m going to struggle with little but I’m still gonna strive to make you proud. The pain of losing you is almost more than I can bear and the times I feel completely numb in order to get through the day.
I take comfort that you’re passing was peaceful and without pain. I’m comforted that I was there with you loving you. Watch over us mama and guide us while we finish our journey without you. I love you to the moon and back. See you again someday mama until then sing loud did the angel choir so I can hear you when it rains.

I want you to know how much I appreciate all your family has done throughout the years for me and my family. Kay loved us unconditional. In high school we all had a lot of good times and bacon. She was an incredible cook and showed me how to make fried chicken and lima beans. She even helped me get my head on straight a few times. She gave the best advise. She took care of my girls and, made sure I had beautiful photos of them to cherish were growing up. Thank you for sharing Mamma/Grandma Kay with us. We love you all – Samantha Reid Chabot

I did not know Kay all that well, but then it didn’t take many conversations to know that she loved her family, & was so proud of them each & everyone. She loved to reminisce & tell stories of fun times. I have been very blessed to know many of the family. I know you all will miss her. She is resting high on that mountain, her work here is done, she has earned many crowns. She knows how much you lover her & all yo have to do is close your eyes & you will feel her right there. So sorry I could not make the services, I will be praying for you this morning Hugs for you all. Ps Linda not many have a life long friend that was so loyal, & loving.
