Janice Eloise Stemock, 87, of Apopka, Florida passed away on June 19, 2022. Mrs. Stemock was born on November 02, 1934 in New York. Mrs. Stemock is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Michael Stemock; son Robert Gene Stemock; as well as her sister Clarice Waller. She is survived by her children Lois Sheridan, Laurie Dewitt and Teresa (Charley) Stemock Eastwood; grandchildren Tara Uhlich, Michael O’Neal, Erin O’Neal, Eric O’Neal, Robert Uhlich, Brian Sheridan Jr. and Stephanie O’Neal; as well as great grandchildren Roman Uhlich, Ryker Uhlich, Amberlynn O’Neal Shaw, Tabyn O’Neal Shaw, River Uhlich and Jordon O’Neal Shaw. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
