Constantine George Birlidis

Constantine George Birlidis passed away on June 25, 2022 in Deland, Florida at the age of 84 with his daughter Frances Abatsas by his side.

He was born in Chios, Greece on August 13, 1937 to late George Konstantine Birlidis and Sophia (Giannopoulou) Birlidis. He served in the United States Army and then transferred to the United States Air Force.

He was a Loving Husband to the late Geraldine Sophia Birlidis and Loving Father, Father In law, Uncle, Brother and Papou. He is survived by his daughter Teresa Katsoufis and husband Stamatis Katsoufis and grandkids Meneloas, Kosta and Alex. His son Constantine “Gusie” and son Vasilios “Billy” Birlidis and his husband Joel Freddrick. His daughter Frances Penelope Abatsas and husband Demetrios Abatsas and grandkids Sophia and Kristakis Abatsas.

He also is survived by his Brother Vasilios Birlidis and late wife Rita Birlidis and kids Sophie, George and Dino Birlidis, His sister Mary (Birlidis) and her husband Taso Parikas and daughter Kitty and husband Elias Flouras and son Konstantine (Dean).

Funeral 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Internment in Daytona Memorial Park at 3:00 p.m. The address is 1425 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.

Flowers can be sent to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando the day of the service.
