Carla M. Durante, 91, of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on November 08, 2022. Mrs. Durante was born on April 03, 1931 in Duke Center, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Durante as well as her son John Maseman. Mrs. Durante is survived by her loving children Ronda Maseman, Nikki (Harold) Yarborough, and Jennifer Maseman; grandchildren Carl Maseman, Bridget Maseman, Todd Maseman, Justin Yarborough and Zackery Yarborough; as well as her siblings Tom Morrical and Imogene Hasson. She will be dearly missed by her many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

I am so sorry for your loss. We live so close and did not know Carla lived in Mt Dora. I know Mom who lived with me in Bradenton and then in The Villages would have loved to have visited with her. My Mom Leah Rae Morrical Dabelow passed on January 4, 2020.
