Deborah J. Caldwell, 68, longtime resident of Apopka, Florida passed away on March 15, 2023. Mrs. Caldwell was born on November 27, 1954 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Ed and Faye Pierce. Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her loving husband Ralph Caldwell; children Lisa Toole, Justin Caldwell and Ronald Caldwell; siblings Dennis Pierce, Mike Pierce and Pam Stroh; as well as 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
