Dorothy Jean Davis, 80, of Casselberry, Florida passed away on April 08, 2023. Ms. Davis was born on November 07, 1942 in Broseley, Missouri. Ms. Davis is survived by her children Cherri Lea Davis Miller, Cynthia Dawn Davis Lally and April Eileen Davis Webb; grandchildren Brittany Lea Gillespie, Paige Eileen Degidio, Allyson Dawn Morris, Kiersten Elizabeth Lally, Channing Mae Webb, Trevin William Lally and Quinlyn Jean Lally; great grandchildren Addelyn Paige Gillespie, Blakely Dawn Gillespie and Miller Grayson Gillespie; as well as her siblings Ana Glenaverne Monroe, Dale Clack and Bob Clack. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
