Margaret D. Wright, 78, of Apopka, Florida passed away on July 01, 2023. Ms. Wright was born on September 03, 1944 in Tiger, Arizona. Ms. Wright is preceded in death by her loving mother Margaret Wentz; as well as her siblings David Wentz and Wes Houghton. She is survived by her children Robert (Penny) Myro and Amanda (Jeremy) Murray; as well as her grandchildren Cole Murray and Madison Murray. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Her smile was so bright, her words were always so kind. I only knew Ms. Wright for a short time, as she was my tenant but it felt like I knew her all my life. She loved her grand babies so much and would always say “hi Rachel I’m heading to Amanda’s” They were her life. My heart breaks that she’s no longer here and my prayers go out to Amanda and the family for their lost. Ms.Wright was a true blessing to us all at Maine Avenue.
