Harold E. Adam, 97, of Apopka, Florida passed away on August 09, 2023. Mr. Adam was born on June 19, 1926 in Fort Recovery, Ohio. He was a proud Pacific Theater World War II Navy veteran. After his time in the Navy Mr. Adam was a General Supervisor in Experimental Engineering at Oldsmobile, where retired after 25 years of service. He is survived by his daughters Candace (Rod) Olsen and Penny Adam; son Timothy (Joanne) Adam; as well as his brother Lee, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held in Michigan later this year.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
