David Macdonald says
My sincerest condolences go to Eddie’s family on his passing. Eddie was a quiet, kind, considerate, hard-working and funny man. As a Glasgow Celtic supporter, who returns to Altamonte Springs frequently from Glasgow, I always enjoyed our chats about the Old Firm and his beloved Glasgow Rangers while taking in a few beers at St. Andrew’s Tavern. I have always found it relatively easy to steer clear of conversation with most Rangers supporters. Eddie made that absolutely impossible with him. His banter about the rivalry about our teams was always jovial and in good spirit. He gave as good as he got.
It was an absolute pleasure to know him. He will be very much missed by all those that were privileged to know him. May he rest in peace.
