Ronald Francis Poirier Sr 62 years old.

Ronald also known as Big Ron passed away on August 11th after almost a year long battle with Stage 4 Esophagus Cancer.

Ron was born on 11/15/1960 to Rose Marie Thomas and Ronald Poirier in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Ron grew up and lived his life in Charlestown, Massachusetts. He was a Charlestown boy at heart. Ron met and married his wife Janice Rowan Poirier in 1981 in Malden , Massachusetts. They welcomed their first son Ronald Jr in 1982 and their daughter Tina in 1989. They moved to Florida in 1991 and welcome their third child and second son Andrew in 1992. They settled in Apopka,Fl in 1999 where Ron would spend the rest of his years.Ron was a true Bostonian at heart, he was a die hard fan of the Patriots and Boston Bruins.He loved playing pool,poker, darts and a good shot of Jack Daniels whiskey never on ice.Ron was preceded in Death by his Mother Rose, siblings Debbie ,John,Darlene,David and two of his grandchildren Aiden and Elizabeth Lugo. Ron is survived by his wife of 41 years Janice, his brother Keith and sister Linda, his children Ronald Jr(Megan),Tina and Andrew(Tanna) and his grandchildren Haylie,Klayton,Kayden,Jett and his newest granddaughter due Nov 2023. The family takes comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and at peace now reunited with his loved ones who went before him.
