In Loving Memory of Maxine Dahly
December 18, 1929 – December 6, 2023
Maxine Johnson Dahly, 93 years old, of Raleigh, NC; peacefully passed in her sleep on December 6th, 2023, surrounded by her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her husband’s Robert Johnson and Ron Dahly. She is survived by her children, Robin Johnson (Terri), Kimberly Stec (Mark), and Karen Hollingsed (Bill); her grandchildren, Rachel Paciaroni (Nick), Katelin Hollingsed, Lauren Pittington (Chris), Krista Valentine (Brayden), and Kinley Hollingsed; and her siblings Thelma Howard, Gilbert Woodlief, and Faye Noland.
Maxine’s life was devoted to loving the Lord and sharing His love with her family, friends, and anyone she met. Mrs. Mac spent 10 years driving the school bus in Orlando then made wonderful friends while working at Sprint phone company before retiring to help care for her family. She enjoyed working in her yard, chatting with her neighbors, and spending time with those she loved.
Her family remembers her as a selfless and spunky mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who encouraged them to love the Lord, love others, and be thankful for all they have. She could always bring a smile to your face and fill the room with laughter. Her family is left with great joy in knowing she is in Heaven, while being able to smile at all the wonderful memories made throughout her life.
Reception to be held December 10, 2023, at Zellwood Community Center (2728 Cayman Drive, Zellwood, Florida 32798) from 1-2:30PM. Followed by Maxine’s Celebration of Life at Loomis Funeral Home from 3-4:30PM.
