Robert Vance Ferrell – 1st Lt. IN (Papa)
Joined his beloved mother and daughter December 15th, 2023. Robert, son of Mattie Ferrell was born April 22nd, 1948, and was a lifelong resident of Apopka. He chose his life mission, to protect and serve ALL he held dear (in no particular order) – his family, those he considered friends, and his country. Robert served actively and valiantly in Vietnam and was awarded the bronze star medal for his heroism in combat. Robbie was solid with strong conviction. He loved as strongly as he challenged. He has found rest from his torment and his soul is at peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Loomis Funeral Home on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:00AM with a food and fellowship to follow.

Ron Carter says
Robbie and I were boyhood friends (step cousins). We never thought we would go our separate ways, but life has a way of doing that. We kept in touch periodically over the years. We send our condolences to all of Robbie’s family and friends.

Bill Arrowsmith says
Robbie was one of a kind and a fierce patriot. He was a man of his word and a loyal friend. Always interested in current events and curious as to how people tick. My wife and I will miss him. Prayers for his beloved granddaughters and remaining family.
