I am so sorry for your loss. It was my pleasure to work for Paul at Seminole County Public Schools from 1993-1999 in the Finance Department. I then transferred to HR and had the priviledge of processing his retirement which he was looking forward to. He was always a kind and caring person. I enjoyed our department luncheons because Paul would have a joke or story that would make us laugh. I know that he will be missed by his family and friends.

I first met Paul in 1988 when I began my career with the Auditor General’s Office. Paul trained me and was my mentor. Many others would complain that I got an advantage being trained by Paul. Since we were both accountants and both FSU grads, everything was planned out. On certain audits together, everyday was a specific lunch spot to take all the guess work out. Wednesdays were always Fat Boy’s BBQ in anticipation of nickel beer night at Church Street Station that night. For some reason, Thursdays were always a greasy chili dog place, which never sat well after the night before. On Saturdays in the Fall, you would find us spending many hours at JB’s Sports Bar watching the FSU football games. Paul was a great guy and will be missed by all.
