Rudolph Michael Ujcic, affectionately known as Pug, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, at the age of 72. He was born on August 7, 1951 and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He later made his home in Orlando, Florida. Pug was a man whose presence was felt deeply by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He lived a life marked by generosity, wisdom, and creativity.
Pug is survived by his lifelong companion Suzanne Ujcic, his grandson Keith Flint Jr., niece Jennifer Cline and her husband Monte, niece Julie Kleinguenther and her husband Chris, seven great-nieces and nephews, one great-great-nephew, as well as his loyal friend Matthew Shane Carter. He touched the lives of many relatives and friends with his kind spirit and fun-loving nature.
Pug was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Jean and stepfather William Perko, his father Rudolph Ujcic, his brother Jeffrey Ujcic, and his beloved stepson Keith Flint.
Pug loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Harley Davidson motorcycles, Corvettes and other classic cars. He was artistic and creative. He found expression in drawing tattoos, sketching his favorite cartoon characters, wood-working, and refinishing cars with precision in his designs of paint and decals.
Pug dedicated 35 years of service working for Orange County, Florida. He built meaningful and long-lasting friendships with his coworkers in the Fleet Management department.
As we say goodbye to Rudolph Michael Ujcic, we celebrate the life of a man who was truly one of a kind. Pug’s journey through life was a ride filled with love, laughter, and the roar of engines – a journey that will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Condolence to all the family. We ran together as young adults in the mid 70’s. He took me to Florida to meet Gary McFarland. We all went to the Super Bowl X together in 1976 in Miami florida. Pittsburgh won 21 – 17 against the Cowboys. He stayed in Orlando and I returned to Pittsburgh. Vacations keep us together for a few years but life gets in the way and we lose touch with friends. Last Friday I sent a Postcard to an address I found on the internet to see if I was him. I guess something told me to find him. I can’t believe Pug and Gary are both gone. Great friends from days gone by. Rest in peace my friends.
