Betty Jean Burton went peacefully home into the arms of Jesus on February 11, 2024. She gracefully fought against the disease within her mind that tried to steal her spirit, but it never did.
Betty Jean Burton was born on January 20, 1938 in Noblesville, Indiana where she met the love of her life Ronald Lee Burton. The two were married on June 18, 1962. They were married for 59 years.
Betty held a variety of jobs including working at Firestone as a key punch data operator. She, also, earned her CDA in Child Development and worked at Tiny Tots in Apopka for 12 years caring for children.
Betty loved to work in the yard and continued doing it up all the way up to the week of her home going. She loved sitting by her koi fish pond, but most of all loved being with her fur baby companion Lucky for 14 years.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Lee Burton, her daughter Cheri Lynn Reddick, and her grandson Robert Lee Lewis. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Jenkins and husband Scott, daughter Rebecca Murphy and husband Martin, her son Brian Burton and wife Doreena. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren Ronald, Richard, Joshua, Alyssa, Alexis, Amber, Victoria, and Diana and her two great granddaughters Violet and Elena. She is, also, survived by her sister Carole Lynch Holman.
