Angel Manuel Perez, 62, of Winter Garden, Florida, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 17, 2024, at Advent Health Hospital. He was born to Milagros Medina and Jesus Perez.
Angel is survived by his parents, Milagros Medina and Raul Medina, his devoted wife, Maria Deloris Perez Enriquez, and four daughters with whom he shared a journey of faith, love, and growth: Karla McClosky, Krystal Perez, Stephanie Miriam Perez, and Regina Perez Enriquez. Like many families, they faced challenges together, but through it all, Angel strived to instill the importance of God’s love and forgiveness. He is also survived by his sisters, Irene Gerena and Rosita Walker, his brother Robert Medina, and five grandchildren who brought joy to his later years: Victoria Ivette McCloskey, Ryleigh Ann McCloskey, Isabella Jolie Morales, Levi Manuel Morales, and Ava Krystal Texeira.
A faithful servant of God, Angel dedicated his life to sharing the Gospel and ministering to others. He was blessed with a sharp mind, earning a PhD in Computer Science, two Master’s degrees in Clinical and Pastoral Counseling, and a Bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology. Angel used these God-given talents in his work as a Psychometrist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, always seeing his profession as a mission field.
Angel’s passion for the Lord Jesus Christ burned brightly in all aspects of his life, even as he navigated the complexities of balancing work, ministry, and family. He loved the Lord with all his heart, mind, and soul, sharing the Good News without reservation and with intentionality. His ministry extended beyond the church walls, reaching into prisons and streets, always seeking to lead others into a true relationship with God. Even in times of trial and family struggles, Angel’s faith remained a cornerstone, and he strived to celebrate God’s blessings daily, embodying the scripture, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
We invite you to join us in celebrating Angel’s life and homegoing on July 9, 2024, at Loomis Family Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Apopka, FL 32712. A viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a joyous Celebration of Life service from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Let’s get “Our Praise On” as we remember Angel’s vibrant faith and honor the God he served so faithfully.
Angel’s life was a testimony to the transformative power of God’s love, the importance of family, and the ongoing journey of faith. His legacy of perseverance, love, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him. As we gather, we do so in the joy of knowing that Angel is now in the presence of his Savior, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23).
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7)
Come, let us celebrate the life of our brother in Christ and the eternal hope we have in Jesus

Hello.
Please accept my deepest condolences. I am sorry for Your loss.
I worked with Angel at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
I am grateful that I had the opportunity to know him as both a colleague and also as a friend.
As I got to know Angel, He showed that he was such a caring, very kind, and giving person.
I consider myself fortunate to have known him.
I am wishing for You peace during this difficult time.
