My condolences to the entire Moro Family🙏 I remember sharing time with Bernie at Family gatherings. We enjoyed talking about our past and how we grew up. We shared Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and considered ourselves having a blessing with them in our life. I considered her a strong, warrior, always fighting for life! I am glad she is no longer in pain! May she rest in peace as she deserves! Sending my love to all🙏❤️ Katherine Bornstein

The Worm Lady was a powerhouse an incredible environmental activist and steward of the earth. She loved her community and her family. I was so blessed and honored to know her and be able to drop in on her and her husband and support their cause.

I will miss Bernie very much. I owe so much of my strength in my life to spending 9 wonderful yrs working for her and Carl. I watched all the family growing and amazed at how her and Carl color coordinate clothes at wk. She was an amazing 2nd mom to me and was appreciated so very much that the lord put her and Carl in my life . They definitely are with all the angels in heaven . I am very sad but knowing what a precious person she was; I feel privileged to be in her life then may all the family stay strong knowing how loved their mother was. My condolance. God bless Bernie forever in my heart. Thank you for holding me close when you did, we had a special time . No words can Express enough.

I was one of many Girl Scouts that Mrs Moro led in the 1960’s
We spent many times with the whole Moro family – and I tried to memorize all the kids’ names.
I am grateful for that time and for the Moro’s outdoorsy way of life that they generously shared with all of us.
Blessings on you all.

Gerry,
This is Gayle Graham Bergstresser. I just found out after asking some people that knew our Girl Scout leader how she was. I just retired and she had been texting me up until the end of last year and then January. Of course I got a new cell number that she didn’t have and I no longer had hers
The Girl Scouts got together and I picked up Mrs. Morrow to go to Carol Colby‘s house in Merritt Island where we had a slumber party. She is a hoot just like she was when we were in Girl Scouts. She was a force to be reckoned with she died at 93 the same age my mom was when she died , they had a long fruitful life, especially with all their beautiful children as in my mom and maybe your mom too. I’m gonna put my cell number on here in hopes that you will reach out to me so we can continue this conversation. We are getting together for the bishop Moore reunion , the end of October. I don’t know if you plan on going my cell number is 407-844-4219.
I was able to see the whole Moro family the day that we celebrated her birthday on the lake. In fact, I remember floating around in the paddle board Or maybe it was a canoe. I just remember being totally relaxed and having a good time Roberta Reed was there and Kathy Bruce who lived across the street from the Moro’s just like the Lacinaks did.
Bye for now

We have known Bernie too many years to count. She was very generous and comforting to
everybody she met. She was working in the Food Pantry up to this year and took food to the
homeless people she found out about. God will have a special place for her in heaven.

I loved getting to know the amazing “GGma.” I am so thankful for the beautiful freedom she found in Jesus!! God is so faithful. It was so fun watching her adventures during COVID, hang gliding , and living life to the fullest without fear of death. In her 90s, she still enjoyed being in the kitchen to bless others, and always had good conversation going. She was such a blessing to have with us in Guatemala, and I cherish the times in Florida, too. She was even good at sharing uplifting posts on Instagram! GGMA is #GOALS
