Paul P. Putnam, 70, of Apopka, Florida passed away on August 10, 2024. Mr. Putnam was born on October 09, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Putnam is preceded in death by his son Paul Putnam Jr.; son in law Joe Gaston; as well as his siblings Arthur Putnam and Gladys Ennis. He is survived by his loving wife Virginia Putnam; children Sabrina Johnson, Denise Gaston, William (Jennifer) Johnson and Deborah (Bruce) Novenski; grandchildren Robert Martin, Andrew Balbas, Daniel Balbas, Devon Johnson, Jeremy Novenski, Parker Johnson and Gabrielle Gaston; great grandchildren Karson Gill and Damien Johnson; as well as his siblings William Aanensen and Jean Demshur. He will be dearly missed by his many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
