Angela Susan Aydelotte

March 23, 1945 — December 28, 2024

Apopka

Angela Susan Aydelotte, nee Drummond, 79, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 28th, 2024.

Susan was born in Daytona Beach, FL, living out most of her childhood in Kissimmee Park, FL where she enjoyed frolicking in the fields, swimming in the lakes, eating wild berries, and exploration. At the age of 14, Susan moved to Apopka, FL with her parents, Amos Alvin and Fannie Mae (Branum) Drummond and sisters Linda, Gayle, and Cathy. Susan remained in Apopka, graduating from Apopka High School in 1963.

Susan often alternated between working as a full-time mom and working at various design roles in the home improvement industry with companies like PPG and Glidden Paints. For many years in the 1980’s, Susan owned Foxwood Interiors where, along with her eldest son, she was able to help other people’s visions for their home or business become a reality. Susan retired from interior and kitchen design with Builders Square, but continued to enjoy cooking, crafting, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. By far, Susan’s greatest passion was her family.

Susan along with her loving husband Fred, of 55 years, have two sons Scott and Mark. A favorite past time with her boys was spending time with them on the open water, at the beach, fishing, or just making memorable moments. She later loved her grandsons Trevor and Zachary with all her heart. She was always there to help with the grandchildren, she was their Mimi and would do anything for them.

Susan was preceded in death by her father Amos Alvin Drummond and mother Fannie Mae (Branum) Drummond.
