Ann Elizabeth Harmon

February 8, 1936 — April 1, 2025

Ann Elizabeth Harmon,89, born on February 8, 1936, in Hayti, Missouri, passed away on April 1, 2025. Ann lived a rich and fulfilling life dedicated to her family, friends, and community.

In her early years, Ann established a career in the banking industry, one that spanned over three decades before she retired after 33 years of dedicated service. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her devotion to her loved ones, especially her husband, Jack Harmon. Ann and Jack were united in marriage on December 29, 1956, a partnership characterized by love, adventure, and shared passions.

A proud member of the "Daughters of the Confederacy," Ann took an active role in preserving history and honoring the past. She cherished her time volunteering, particularly placing flags on the graves of Civil War soldiers throughout the state of Florida, carrying forth their legacy with great respect.

Ann and Jack shared a love for travel, often venturing across the southeastern United States in pursuit of their favorite pastime - coon hunting. Their journeys were enriched by the friendships they formed along the way, creating lasting memories that brought joy to their lives.

She leaves behind her husband, Jack Harmon; her brother Kenneth (Joyce) Dean; her sister Debbie Kennedy; and many nieces and nephews who will remember her with deepest affection. Ann's spirit and warmth touched the lives of many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.
