Catherin DiMaria, 55, of Apopka, Florida passed away on March 9. Cathy was born on Oct 19, 1969 in Derry, NH to the late Marueen DiMaria and Joseph DiMaria of Norwood, Massachusetts.
Cathy graduated from the Henry O. Peabody school in Norwood, MA where she studied culinary arts. Cathy worked for many years as a dietary aide before retiring to spend time with her family.
Cathy is survived by her loving husband Saul Lewis or Orlando, Florida; daughter Brandy; as well as four beloved grandchildren, Julian, Lilianna, E'Lanni, and Charley.
Cathy adored her grandchildren and loved spending quality time with them. She has two sisters, Christine (Kenny) Holton of Apopka and Victoria DiMaria of Stoughton, MA; brother Joseph DiMaria of Bridgewater, MA; as well as nephew Robin Theisen.
She especially enjoyed rock music, the louder the better. She was a devoted Boston Celtics fan. Cathy was an excellent cook and often shared meals with neighbors.
Cathy was an active member of the Fountain of Life Baptist Church in Apopka.
Cathy lived life to the fullest, and would encourage all that knew and loved her to do the same.
